The Dance Floor at Hiland

Formerly West View Dance, our program was established in 1992 by some passionate moms who wanted their children to have the chance to dance. During the unprecedented challenges that 2020 brought, we received the shocking news that our program was being discontinued. In those 28 years, we had built such a strong community, giving hundreds of children opportunities that they otherwise might not have had. We knew this couldn’t be the end of our story. 

Our team of incredible instructors came together and started brainstorming new name ideas in an attempt to truly capture what our program is at its core - a family. We have always prided ourselves on our inclusivity, welcoming dancers from a variety of neighborhoods and backgrounds. The Dance Floor at Hiland was born.

Our program serves tots to teens - two-years-old through high school seniors and even adults. We offer classes in a multitude of genres, so everyone is sure to find something to fit every personality and interests. We educate our dancers in a non-competitive learning environment, simultaneously challenging and encouraging their growth. We cannot lie, dance is hard work, but it is also a great form of exercise, the perfect outlet to build self-confidence, and SO MUCH FUN!
