Aimee Spicuzza
Miss Aimee is a West View Dance alumni who started dancing when she was in kindergarten. Throughout her years as a dancer at West View Dance, she was a student helper and loved helping other dancers. In 2015, Miss Aimee returned to West View Dance as a baton instructor. Since then, she has also taught Tap, Preschool, and Jazz. Throughout high school, Miss Aimee was a majorette in the North Hills Marching Band and joined the Danceline for three years in college. Miss Aimee has a passion for teaching, whether it is through dance or as a 7th grade teacher at Central Valley Middle School. She attended Westminster College where she graduated in 2010 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. After college, Miss Aimee traveled to Georgia and then Slippery Rock, but made her way back to Pittsburgh when she began teaching at West View Dance. She loves having the opportunity to teach dance and bringing her two of her favorite things together to share with others, teaching and dance!
Donna Spicuzza
Miss Donna started dancing when she was 4 years old at Martha Davies Dance School and continued dancing until 11th grade at O’Brien Dance Studio. Throughout high school she was a Majorette in the Carrick Marching Band. Over the years she has taught water aerobics, Silver Sneakers Classes, dance classes and aerobics. Miss Donna taught Ballet, Tap, Pointe, Baton, and Jazz at West View Dance for 15 years before retiring. Miss Donna has 3 children and 5 grandchildren and is excited to be teaching with her daughter Miss Aimee again. This is Miss Donna’s 7th season with the Avonworth Marching Band as the dance line instructor. Dance has always been an important part of her life and she loves teaching and dancing. Even though she “retired” a few years ago, everyone knew she couldn’t stay away and she is excited to be teaching dance again at The Dance Floor!
Nicole Moore
Miss Nicole is a West View Dance alumni who started dancing in Preschool. She started to as a dance teaching assistant when she was in third grade and loved helping dancers get better! Miss Nicole has enjoyed dancing in several different areas including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe and Hip Hop. In 2014, Miss Nicole started teaching her own classes and was so excited to do so! She loves watching the dancers master those new skills! Miss Nicole's favorite part of the year is the dance recital! She loves watching the dancers show off all of their dance routines with big smiles on their faces. Miss Nicole attended The University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a degree in Applied Developmental Psychology. She is a Preschool Teacher and loves it. Miss Nicole loves teaching and dance. She loves that she has the opportunity to do both together!
Lauren Donatelli
Miss Lauren is a West View Dance alumni, who started dancing when she was in preschool. She loved her dance classes so much that she started as a dance teaching assistant when she was in 7th grade and continued to help the west view dance teachers until she graduated high school. Over the years, Miss Lauren took classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, and Hip Hop. Miss Lauren took a little bit of a dance break while she attended Penn State University and graduated with a degree in engineering. Although Miss Lauren loves her construction job, she is very excited to be using her creative side again while teaching dance. She is so thrilled to get back to dancing and teaching, and is eager to see her dancers smiling faces up on stage!
Brooklynn Grill
Miss Brooklynn is a West View Dance alumni who started dancing when she was in preschool. During her time with West View, she ranged from jazz classes to hip hop to ballet and eventually started student teaching when she was in middle school all the way through graduating high school. After high school, Miss Brooklynn took a break from the dance world to pursue an undergraduate degree in Business Management and eventually an MBA. Being a Pricing and Proposal Analyst, she is crunching numbers all day, so she is more than excited to be able to let loose and have some fun with her dancers.
